Cherek Castle - Belgariad

The castle of the king of Cherek, a snowy, seafaring kingdom. Wings of the castle are in ruin. Townspeople have settled outside the imposing walls of the main fortifications. The soaring towers and the town take cues from viking architecture. A large ornate iron gate is a centrepiece of the castle.
